About Colin Stephenson, Franchise Owner
Colin Stephenson has been in the Financial Technology (FINTECH), Services and Banking industry for the entirety of his 20 years as a professional, where he worked everywhere from the phones to back-end operations to leading strategic vision and product innovation at scale. Colin excelled because he has an innate passion for bridging gaps. And in the Fin-Tech industry that means correlating a Business’ vision with the operations of a company’s Financial, Technology, and Product teams. Success requires the right types of leaders and collaborators. Colin understands those needs and how to identify talent that cultivates success.
As Owner, President, and Chief Consultant of Bluewater Products and Strategies, Colin consults on a wide variety of Business Operation’s needs. These can include Innovation Strategy, Business Operations Improvement or Design, Partnership Development, Project Management, Portfolio Road Mapping, and more.
Colin joined American Recruiters as an Independent Franchisee in 2024 and opened the company’s first franchise in Connecticut, located in CT’s beautiful Farmington Valley.
He is focused on servicing individuals, businesses, and industries with an eye out for top talent in the FINTECH and adjacent partnerships marketplace. While he is originally from the Hartford, CT area, and did his undergraduate work at the University of Vermont, Colin spent a long period learning the business ropes in San Diego California from 2004 to 2018. He came back to New England where he’s lived since.
