As the owner and operator of the first American Recruiters franchise in Maryland, Guy Kabwenge brings over 16 years of experience in staffing and recruiting across multiple industries. His journey has taken him through diverse sectors, including healthcare, finance, real estate, consumer electronics, and more, where he’s developed a profound expertise in talent acquisition and workforce solutions.

Guy has had the privilege of working with top-tier companies such as Allegis Group, Redfin, Sazerac, Freedom Mortgage, and Walgreens. At Allegis Group, one of the largest talent solutions providers in the world, he led full-cycle recruiting for high-profile clients like Avaya, Cisco, and Verizon. As a Team Lead, Guy managed a team of recruiters.

His work in these first-rate organizations sharpened his ability to design and execute large-scale recruitment strategies while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience. At Redfin, Guy took on the challenge of recruiting mortgage advisors, real estate agents, and closing advisors. He quickly became a top performer, helping Redfin build its Internal teams quickly and efficiently during a high-growth phase. His work at Freedom Mortgage was similarly impactful, where he partnered with sales leadership to source and hire licensed loan officers, consistently meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.

Guy’s role at Sazerac, a global leader in spirits, involved sourcing top-tier sales professionals to grow their award-winning brand portfolio. He successfully filled high-volume positions, contributing to the expansion of their sales teams. Additionally, at Walgreens, he led the recruiting efforts across the Mid-Atlantic region, recruiting for both salaried and hourly positions in stores and pharmacies.

Throughout Guy’s remarkable career, he’s become renowned for his ability to lead recruitment teams, anticipate market needs, and build strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
