Crystal Van Velkinburgh will serve the distributor as the North Atlantic regional sales director.
Marcone has appointed Crystal Van Velkinburgh as its North Atlantic regional sales director for the Commercial Kitchen team.
Van Velkinburgh brings a wealth of industry experience to the role. She previously worked as director of sales for beverage dispenser manufacturer Lancer Worldwide, was director of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence at Electrolux and managed a $200 million product category for a private equity firm.
“I’m excited to put my skills to work here at Marcone, where we share a commitment to service excellence and a customer-first mentality,” Van Velkinburgh says in the release. “There’s no doubt Marcone has changed the commercial kitchen repair industry since it entered the marketplace two years ago, so the opportunity to join such a dynamic and forward-thinking group allows me to make a meaningful contribution with this next stage of my career.”
Van Velkinburgh will manage OEM parts distribution to independent service agents along the Eastern Seaboard from the Carolinas through Maine.
“Crystal is poised to be an excellent addition to the Marcone Commercial Kitchen family at a time when we are meeting more repair needs than ever before,” says Keri Llewellyn, president of Marcone Commercial Kitchen. “I look forward to adding another strong woman to the team, someone who also is committed to improving the industry through faster service, deeper inventory and broad delivery options.”
Based in St. Louis, Marcone is a provider of premium solutions, parts and equipment for professionals serving customers on their appliance parts, HVAC, plumbing and commercial kitchen needs.
