McLane Foodservice, part of the McLane Company, announced that Susan Adzick had been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. In July of this year, Adzick will transition to president of McLane Foodservice, according to a company news release. Adzick has been with McLane since 2000 and most recently served as senior vice president of sales and strategic relationships. Prior to joining McLane Foodservice, Adzick worked at PepsiCo.  “Susan Adzick is an experienced supply chain industry executive who is well respected by all who know and work with her,” said Tom Zatina, current president of McLane Foodservice, in the news release. “I have the utmost confidence in knowing Susan will be a steward of the values of our business and keep our company a great place to work, a great place to trade and a great place to invest.” Adzick serves on the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors, the National Restaurant Educational Foundation Board of Directors as vice chair and the Restaurant Leadership Conference Advisory Council. She served on the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) Board of Directors as chair in 2018. “McLane Foodservice is positioned to support the supply chain needs of our strategic partners today and tomorrow,” said Adzick in the news release. “I’m excited about helping to further shape the future of our business.” McLane Foodservice is a $16 billion division of McLane Company, which buys, sells and delivers more than 13 billion pounds of goods per year.
