6TH INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGIST NEEDED IN MIDWEST 

This radiology department with 29 radiologists is recruiting their 6th Interventional Radiologist.  They work out of two hospitals. The main hospital has nearly 700 beds and has an international reputation for providing solid organ and bone marrow transplant services. It is also well known nationally for its oncology, and neurology programs. With a reputation for excellence, innovation and extraordinary patient care, this Medical Center has earned the J.D. RESPONSIBILITIES

You can expect 100% clinically oriented Interventional Radiology. Some of the procedures they are currently performing include: angiography, angioplasty, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, venography, intravascular ultrasound, stents, foreign body extractions, needle biopsies, blood clot filters, TPA's, catheter insertions, etc…

IR-only call will be 1:6

They are scheduled to have a new IR suite operational by Aug. 2010 (Phillips).
